Slamaxx's Maceo 4 Month Old Picture
This is our Maceo. We have more pictures of him than any other dog. While doing what he loves to do best, "run", he bolted out the door and ran out into the street. It was a tragic moment, and the owner we placed him with had to carry her son to the side of the road. Pray for the owner that she doesn't lose interest in the Johnson bulldogs, she is an awesome owner, and we're going to place another dog with her once she gathers herself together. It was an accident.
Sire: Slamaxx's RedRum Dam: Slamaxx's Daizha

Bred by: Korey Jordan and Chester Slaten

"Drama" passed on a very hot day at a friends house due to a gastronal torsion, or twisting of her stomach. Deep chest dogs are prone to this type of problem when overheated, and watered, another common name is Bloat. If you have a bulldog, or looking to buy a bullog, do some research to learn more about this unexplainable event. Also look up heat stroke, and what to do as these symptoms can appear to be bloat.

She was poisoned, by english ivy, or black mushrooms,.... vet was unable to determine which as it had been digested. Watch your dogs if you live in a wooded area, know the plants around your dogs, and ask a vet what is native to your region, and what plants to look out for. She will be missed greatly.
